Joe Piskula Defends |
Piskula was out with a minor injury when Brodie got the nod, but he would follow T.J. to Calgary not long after, spending the majority of December with the NHL club. For the Wisconsin product, it was his first NHL action since the Spring of 2007 with the LA Kings, and his first spell with the Flames since being added. Smooth skating and steady play are the calling card of the 28-year-old who quietly put up a career-high 18 points in 59 games this season.
